femtoAI Responsible Minerals Sourcing Policy

1. Purpose & Scope

femtoAI is committed to conducting business in a socially responsible and ethical manner. We support the global effort to eliminate human rights abuses, child labor, and financing of armed conflicts in the supply chain of critical and conflict minerals.

This policy applies to all proprietary semiconductor and silicon products designed and manufactured by femtoAI. Hardware evaluation kits and development platforms provided by femtoAI are intended solely for product evaluation and testing; while the core femtoAI silicon on these boards is fully covered by our due diligence, the off-the-shelf third-party components (such as standard passives and connectors) utilized on the carrier boards are explicitly excluded from active tracing scope.

2. Commitment to Due Diligence

We aim to ensure that the minerals used in our products are sourced from responsible, ethical supply chains. To achieve this, femtoAI designs and implements its due diligence processes to align with the framework established by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.

3. Supplier Expectations

We expect our direct suppliers to adopt their own responsible sourcing practices and actively participate in our supply chain transparency initiatives. Specifically, our suppliers are required to:

  • Conduct Due Diligence: Implement risk-based due diligence measures appropriate to their operations to trace the origin of critical and conflict minerals.
  • Report Transparently: Complete and submit annual conflict and extended minerals disclosures utilizing the latest versions of the CMRT and EMRT templates provided by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI).
  • Source Responsibly: Source 3TG and extended minerals exclusively from smelters and refiners that are validated as “Conformant”—or actively progressing toward validation—through third-party audit programs like the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP).
  • Cascade Requirements: Pass these responsible sourcing expectations down to their own sub-tier suppliers to drive transparency back to the mineral processor.

4. Continuous Improvement & Corrective Action

We review all incoming supplier declarations for completeness and accuracy. If we identify a supplier that is sourcing from an unverified or non-compliant smelter, we work collaboratively with them to establish corrective actions. Continual non-compliance or failure to cooperate with our data requests may result in a re-evaluation of our business relationship, up to and including termination.
